Birchwood at Whiting Awarded Best Curb Appeal by NJAA November 24, 2025
Collingswood, NJ – November 24, 2025 – Ingerman, a leading developer, builder and manager of multifamily housing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, received “Best Curb Appeal” for its Birchwood at Whiting community at the 2025 Garden State Awards.
The New Jersey Apartment Association’s (NJAA's) annual awards recognize industry professionals and their properties that represent excellence in multifamily rental housing within the state. This year Ingerman’s 55 and over affordable rental community, Birchwood at Whiting, took home “Best Curb Appeal” honors.
Based in Manchester Township, Ocean County, Birchwood at Whiting offers 76 one- and two-bedroom rentals to households 55 and over. The apartments feature granite countertops, tile backsplashes, full appliance packages, plank flooring, private balconies, and other premium features at affordable rents based on 20-60% AMI for the County. Community amenities include lounge, fitness center, outdoor seating areas, off-street parking, on-site management, and resident service programs.
The NJAA's awards honor individuals, properties, and management companies in areas like excellence in property management, maintenance, and green building. This year the Garden State Awards received over 350 nominations, reflecting the remarkable talent, dedication, and impact of the organization and industry it serves.
