Alder Creek Honored at 2025 Diamond State Awards November 13, 2025
Newark, DE – November 13, 2025 – Ingerman, a leading developer, builder and manager of multifamily housing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, was recognized in the “Affordable Community of the Year” category of the Delaware Apartment Association’s (DAA’s) 2025 Diamond State Awards for The Willows at Alder Creek.
The Annual Diamond State Awards celebrate the very best in apartment living by honoring the top properties and outstanding individuals who make apartment living exceptional throughout the state of Delaware. This year The Willows at Alder Creek, a 56-unit family affordable rental community in Newark, New Castle County, DE, was honored as an Affordable Community of the Year.
The Willows at Alder Creek was built in 2015 and the team there works hard to keep the property in pristine condition. The community offers residents a variety of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments (flat and bi-level floorplans) across 13 residential buildings to cater to a mix of household sizes. On premise amenities include a playground, lounge, courtyard, business center, fitness center, off-street parking, laundry facilities, and on-site management. The amenities are included with the rent at no extra charge. The community participates in ACC and Section 8 rental assistance programs and all of the rents fall at or below 60% AMI as set by the LIHTC program.
