Lorne leads the management company’s finance department. He works with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Property Accountant teams. His responsibilities include overseeing the timely payment of invoices, and the accurate accounting of the property’s accounts receivables. Lorne is also involved in producing the portfolio’s monthly financial reports and making sure that they are disseminated to Management, Investors, and State Agencies. He works closely with the VP of Finance as well as the CFO to insure timely and accurate budgets and monthly operating reports are available for internal decision making and external requirements.
Lorne has worked in many aspects of Corporate Accounting since 1989. He started his career as Assistant AP Manager moving on to AP & Disbursements Manager. In the last 10 years he has been heavily involved in residential Real Estate accounting gaining both experience and expertise as Assistant Controller and Controller for Property Management companies.
